ELIA Wellness, an initiative of the South Pacific Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church (SPD Ltd), is a health promotion charity committed to empowering people to achieve whole-person health through evidence-based lifestyle medicine. We partner with healthcare professionals to provide resources and programs that help prevent and manage chronic disease while bringing health, healing and hope to our communities. Based at Sydney Adventist Hospital, the ELIA Lifestyle Medicine Centre is at the forefront of evidence-based lifestyle medicine and preventive healthcare.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and relationship-focused Lifestyle Medicine Centre Liaison Officer to strengthen connections with specialists, general practitioners, and healthcare providers, increasing awareness and referrals to the ELIA Lifestyle Medicine Centre.

About the Role

Reporting to the SPD Director of Adventist Health / Executive Director of ELIA Wellness, this position is ideal for an experienced health or marketing professional seeking a flexible, purpose-driven part-time role. It plays a key part in promoting the ELIA Lifestyle Medicine Centre and supporting its strategic and financial objectives through the development of referral networks and healthcare partnerships.

You will:

• Build and maintain relationships with specialists, GPs, hospitals and healthcare organisations.
• Develop and implement referral and marketing strategies to increase patient referrals.
• Monitor referral trends and identify growth opportunities.
• Promote ELIA programs and services within medical and community networks.
• Coordinate promotional activities, educational events and engagement initiatives.
• Support the expansion of ELIA services to other clinics and healthcare settings.

About You

You will bring:

✔ A passion for whole-person health and preventive healthcare.

✔ Qualifications in Health, Marketing or a related field, together with relevant industry experience.

✔ Experience engaging with general practitioners, specialists and healthcare stakeholders.

✔ Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.

✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

✔ Commitment to the mission and values of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and alignment with the Adventist health message.
