About the team
The Division Administration team encompasses the senior officers (President, Secretary, Chief Financial Officer, and Associate Officer) of the Seventh-day Adventist church in the South Pacific as well as some ancillary and administrative support staff who help facilitate a productive and efficient leadership team. The Administration Finance office consists of the Division CFO, Finance Manager and Executive Assistant. The Division Property Trust under the oversight of the Manager, manages all properties owned by the SPD including the Wahroonga Estate, Cooranbong Estate and manufacturing sites of Sanitarium.

About the Role
As the Executive Assistant you will be an integral part of our Administration team, providing high-level administrative support to the CFO and other senior finance leaders including the Division Property Trust Manager. This role demands a detail-oriented, highly organised, and discreet individual who can manage complex schedules, handle confidential information, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will work collaboratively with the other Executive Assistants to assist with scheduling and travel coordination, meetings and event planning, processing enquiries and documentation, as well as backfill support roles when needed.
Based at the Division head office in Wahroonga, NSW, this role will primarily work within the Finance function of Administration and report directly to the Chief Financial Officer, with indirect reporting to the Division Property Trust Manager. Desired Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following selection criteria:
Essential
Must be a practising, baptised member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church with a strong commitment and belief in the teachings, values, and mission of the Church; and eligible to hold the appropriate licence with the Church.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in office administrative support or clerical/financial support or similar.
Ability to work well in a team and be open to undertaking professional development.
High level of computer literacy and competency within a Microsoft windows environment.
Intermediate proficiency level in MS Excel with the ability to compile and present complex data.
Ability to prepare professional presentations and reports.
Well-developed people skills with the ability to connect and relate to people from diverse backgrounds.
Ability to provide highly professional and effective administrative support, with minimal supervision.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Maintain confidentiality and professional discretion.
Demonstrate initiative and self-motivation with a service orientation.
Familiarity in managing complex multiple MS Outlook calendars and/or experience scheduling.
Highly organised with excellent time management skills, including the ability to multi-task, prioritise and work to deadlines.
Preferred
Working knowledge of the Seventh-day Adventist Church organisation and its operations throughout the South Pacific Division.
Excellent team facilitator.
Able to proactively anticipate issues/matters that need to be dealt with.
Aptitude in cross-cultural interaction.
Previous office admin support experience in an Adventist employment context would be highly advantageous.
